Ok, I'm not as Texan as I used to be...

So I went with Brody's day camp to Six Flags and THE PLAN was for me to go, make sure they were going to keep up with him (since I've been having problems with him hiding lately) and then leave. Well, we woke up at 6, got to the school at 7:30 but didnt even enter the park till 11:00. By then, Brody was hungry, thirsty, hot, tired. And that's not even mentioning how his 30 pounds heavier than last year and out of shape mom was feeling... So he rode one ride with his group -

His first "roller coaster"
After this ride he quickly decided he was tired of messing around with the big group and I was not comfortable enough to leave and didnt feel like they would push enough water down the kids for 105 degrees. I also didnt think he'd have fun with them. So away we went to this, where the seats are not made for booties that had babies recently, ouch...

(still in Looney Tunes land listening to Brody say "I wanna ride the Titan")

On the Mine Train, his favorite I think. We loved it, and rode it several times. But it hurt! He'd look over at me and scream "OUCH MY NECK" I'd yell "YOUR SIX, I'M OLD!!" =)

This was our last ride. I used to love it, but while it was going I had to close my eyes and just pretend I had a fan blowing on me. Not sure when I turned into this old person, but unbelievable.

We left at 1:30 and the car said 104! We went home and cooled off, I took a shower, then we went to Jessi's and fetched my fussy baby while Brody and Trystan played in the water outside. All in all it was a good but very exhausting day. Me and Brody had a fun time. I am so glad I have at least lost half my baby weight but I have a long way to go and will enjoy it a lot more next year when I'm back to my normal weight (and we dont go when it's 105 out!). I'm wondering if all those chocolate chip cookies were worth it.... =)
